Feta Cheese Kebabs

Feta Cheese Kebabs

The Feta Cheese Kebabs are such a low carb, guilt-free, super delicious treat ! Once you make them, you will want to go back to and make them again and again ! Plus they are low in calories, so you don’t have to worry if you have a few extra 🙂

You can make several batches of these at once so you can enjoy them throughout the week. You can pack the Kebabs for your kid’s lunch or even take them to your office for lunch – they are very delicious and filling ! Kebabs goes very well with any kind of salad such as onion salads. And the white sauce I made is the perfect substitute for store-bough Tzatziki sauce !

To make the Kebabs you don’t need to use any egg – they will come out very juicy and delicious without adding egg ! You also do not need to use any breadcrumbs – they will turn out well blended and do not need breadcrumbs for binding !

I like to make different shapes out of my Kebabs, such as round shapes or even oval shapes. It is fun for my daughter to see different shapes – she gets very excited and eats them happily. You can make whatever shape you want (round, oval, extended, etc) – all that matters is that they should be delicious and juicy.

  • 1/2 Cup Chopped Parsley Finely Chopped

Quick Onion Pickle

  • 1 Small Red Onion Thinly Sliced
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 Medium Lemon
  • Salt According to your taste

White Sauce

  • 4 Tbsp Greek Yogurt
  • 1 tsp Dried Mint Leaves Crushed
  • ½ tsp Dill
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • Salt According to Taste

Instructions

Feta Cheese Kabobs

  • Take a mixing bowl and add all the ground chicken
  • Add all the spices and feta cheese in the bowl as well. Mix everything together evenly
  • Begin making the kebabs. Form them by hand into medium size oval shapes by rolling them slowly into shape using your hands.
  • Once done forming all the kebabs, start putting them one by one into the air fryer and spray the batch with 2 sprays of avocado oil spray. Since my air fryer is not so large, I could only fit 5 pieces in a single batch – so I needed multiple batches to cook all the kebabs.
  • Cook the kebabs for 8 minutes on 400 °F

Quick Onion Pickle

  • Slice the onions into several round ring shaped slices
  • After slicing, open and separate all the onion rings one by one and wash each of them with ice cold water. Then place them all in a bowl
  • Add a little bit paprika or red chili powder to the bowl according to your desired spice level and squeeze 1 teaspoon of lemon. Add some salt according to your taste and mix together well
  • Let it marinate for 15-20 minutes in the fridge and then it will ready

White Sauce

  • Assemble and prepare all the ingredients together including Greek yogurt, dried mint, dill, black pepper and salt
  • Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl well. The white sauce will be ready and best of all, now you have your own home-made version of Tzatziki sauce (instead of buying it from the store ) !
